Searching on behalf of my mother who was adopted in 1971 from Annandale home for unwanted mothers (Aka Queen Victoria Maternity). My mother was adopted we believe a few days-week after birth. We have tried "traditional" Routes and they tell us they have no record of her birth or adoption... my grandmother also does not have the original birth certificate‚ this seems to be a common theme with this hospital...
