Seeking Brendan Holobowski (birth name) born at Deniliquin hospital 10.10.1970 Janis Knipe birth mother Frank Holobowski birth father Were married,now divorced Two other siblings and myself Brendan is the eldest, then a sister 41, myself 39, then our ‘baby’ brother, 33. No agency I am aware of, my mum did stay with Brendan for up to 6 weeks in the hospital following his birth, not sure of the reasoning behind this. We assume he was adopted by an Australian family, as far as we have been informed, his adoptive parents have not told him he is adopted. I have unsuccessfully tried to find Brendan in the past, incredibly frustrating and upsetting. He is our full brother, we have the same parents, my mother will never be complete until she sees him again, we won’t be until we meet him. Our father is estranged from us, by choice of his own. He ignores all three of his children as well as three grandsons. He lives in the same town as my sister and her children and continues to verbally abuse her and my mum publicly at any time. We have tried to reach out to him many times, he suffers from depression and bipolar, is a gambling addict and was both physically and emotionally abusive for the entirety of our lives with him, especially to our Mum. He will not be involved in the search for Brendan.
