I was born in Newcastle hospital NSW on the 5.12.1955. I have been advised that I was born to a married couple who already had 5 children. They could not afford to keep me. I was 24 week gestation and required a lot of care weighing at approx 500grams. I believe I was at the hospital for 5 months to reach birth weight. I was given the name Rhonda Jane (my adoptive Mother changed this to Megan Kay). As I am now 66 I do not believe my birth parents to be alive.
