I’m searching for parents or bio family on behalf of my mother Yolanda J. Chavez who was adopted in a closed adoption. as birthcertificate notes mom was born March 8, 1960. My mother was told she may have been ill at birth or thereafter. She was born with the last name Lucero or possibly Lopez not sure if she had a different first name. Adoptive Family from Santa Rosa, NM and Puerta De Luna, NM. also Albuquerque, and Santa Fe NM areas. She has a brother that was also adopted named Lawrence Chavez and non-adopted brother Robert Chavez. My adoptive grandparents are Hilario aka Lalo Chavez and Candelaria aka Lala (Maestas) Chavez. Living in Santa Fe, NM. Please offer any info if this story sounds familiar.
