At the time my daughter Destiny Courtney was placed for adoption I was incarcerated in Livingston Parish Prison, her mother April Starkey had lost her rights and I was unable to take her so she was placed for adoption. She was adopted in 2011 by a couple in Covington La with the adoption taking place in Livingston Parish courts.
