My father’s name was Jerry Eugene DeBoer, he was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico we believe on October 21, 1938. We are unsure of the actual state the adoption took place. He believed the adoption took place when he was about 7. Edna Maria (Scott) DeBoer of Illinois and Jacob DeBoer are the adoptive parents. Edna may be his biological mother, we are unsure. Edna’s sister Nona Ruth Scott, never married, born in Illinois Jan 13, 1922 and died on November 4, 1939, in New Mexico at the age of 17. Nona is the only connection to New Mexico that we can find. Is it possible to find his original birth records? All of the above members of our family have passed away. Myself and siblings are just trying to find out IF the birth/biological mother and/or father are anywhere to be found on any records. We have absolutely no idea who the biological father is!
