I was born in Belen‚ New Mexico in November 1953 and placed for adoption in St. Anthony’s Home for Boys in Albuquerque. I have a first cousin in my adopted family who was born in the same hospital as I on January 1st 1954. Belen wasn’t a very big city in 1953. My cousin’s grandfather on his mother’s side worked at St. Anthony’s when I was placed there. I’ve always felt that someone must’ve known the circumstances of my birth. I have reason to believe my birth Mother’s last name was Gabaldon.
