I was adopted through the Trenton Diocese of Catholic Charities in March of 1968. My birth date is 3/16/68. I know that I was born in Longbranch NJ...and that my biological mother lived with her aging parents. I am well aware of the social pressures of that time era and being a mother of a four year old I can’t help but feel a great sense of compassion for my biological mother. I don’t know the full circumstances of what led her to put me up for adoption but I would like to tell her that I harbor no angry feelings just love and compassion towards her. If somehow I can help to lessen her burden I am happy to do so. At the same time if it would be intrusive and damaging somehow for her to contact me due to her current circumstances I would completely understand.
