My grandson birth name is Alphonso Marvin Wilkins III. He was born in South Jersey Hospital in Vineland Nj on November 24, 2006. He was taking into Cape May County dfs on March 24, 2012. Since then we had had weekly home visits at his mother residence his biological mother which is my daughter is Sharaine Cottman and his father name which is on his birth certificate Alphonso Marvin Wilkins, Jr. The last contact visit was on his birthday which was November 24, 2014. I his grandma and his mother were just informed by Cumberland County Dyfs that he has been adopted in 2018 and his adopted parents has changed his name. Me and my daughter been trying to have Alphonso returned home to his family since 2012 and the system has failed us tremendously. Please I need some legal advice so We can submit the proper court documents to go forward with the process.
