I am searching for any information about a baby girl who was abandoned in New Jersey Hudson county in 1922. She was found by a man walking his dog and taken to an Adoption Home/Foundling Home. My grandparents Mary and Stephen Murphy of North Bergen, NJ. adopted her. They are all deceased but I am trying to find her adoption papers and any information surrounding her. She didn’t know of her adoption until she was 18 and I didn’t find out about this until I was about 20. I am her daughter. She had the adoption papers and the newspaper article about being found but I can’t find it.
