My father, who is now deceased, was born in Clinton Farms correctional facility for women (New Jersey) in 1956. He stayed in the jail with his birth mother for I believe 6 months. Once released, his mother and father kept him until he was 3 years old, then gave him up for adoption. I am trying to figure out who his birth parents were. His adoptive parents, who are now also deceased, always told me that they did not know anything about his birth parents.
