I recently received my #23andme report, found out my genealogy and was able to connect with a third cousin through their DNA relatives page. This third cousin lives in Canada and she sent me some photographs of distant relatives who look a lot like me (my wife and mother confirmed). According to my newly found third cousin, some of her family members are from upstate NY, leading me to believe that there could be a connection there. Furthermore, the last names of Parker and Kealey could have a connection to my birth mother (maybe?) and other biological relatives. Therefore, I wanted to put my information on this site again to see if anyone has more info that could aid in my search. I was born at 4 pm on 4/1/1985 at Julia Butterfield Hospital in Cold Spring, NY. My birthmother was 19 years old, 5’1, 105 lbs, and had dark hair and dark eyes. She named me Jason and claimed that she was of Irish/Italian background (DNA test confirmed Irish heritage, 66 percent British/Irish, only .7 percent Italian). She wrote me a letter the day after my birth saying that she wanted me to find her one day so I would sincerely hope that she wouldn’t change her mind about that. She gave me a stuffed clown (which apparently scared the heck out of me when I was little) and explained the reasons why she gave me up for adoption.
