I am looking for my first cousin, Charles Boyd Lang, the son of my uncle Charles Gustave Lang and his wife Kathleen Minto. Charles Boyd Lang was born at Margaret Hague Hospital in Jersey City, New Jersey on August 26, 1954. His mother and father divorced in 1959. His mother remarried in 1960 and she and her husband had two daughters. Our family had no contact with my cousin after his mother remarried. Kathleen Minto died on March 6, 1964 and my cousin was adopted by her husband, Joseph Edward Peters Jr. A request for adoption was filed on March 10, 1964 In Red Bank, Monmouth County, New Jersey and a hearing was set for May 29, 1964. My uncle was not in good health and agreed to the adoption. I do not know if my cousin kept his first and middle name. I have been searching for many, many years and have not been able to find my cousin. I found his mother’s death date and place of burial, Princeton,Mercer County, New Jersey, on ancestry. My uncle Charles Gustave Lang died in 1970. I want my cousin to know that he was never forgotten by his father’s family. I have fond memories of him as a little boy, he was like a brother to me.
