I am searching for any relatives of my father. My father was adopted at 5 days old in New Jersey .My grandparents lived in the Bronx and were unable to conceive. They were in their early 30’s. They reached out to an attorney who "arranged" the adoption. The only information I have from my grandparents (both deceased for many years) is as follows: My father’s birth mother was a young Irish girl put in a home for unwed mothers to conceal her pregnancy. The birth father was approx. late 20’s or early 30’s, of Italian descent, and presumed to be a married man and a person of power. My father spent his whole life looking for his birth parents or siblings. We even went to meet with the family of the attorney who arranged the adoption years after that attorney passed but the family refused to speak to us and said they would never reveal the information. My father lived his life feeling like he was unwanted (even though he had the most incredible adoptive parents in the world). He spent his adult life searching for parents or siblings. My father passed away in 1999 at the age of 52, never knowing who he really was. I want to find someone who can help put the puzzle pieces together in hopes of allowing my dad to finally rest in peace.
