Any official document I can find shows my father as Albert Richel or as Albert Richard Richel. if he was adopted his adoptive fathers was Joseph J Richel, but I believe his biological fathers name was John A Taylor. One of my aunts claims she found a birth certificate with Albert Richard Taylor, but I don’t know if that was my fathers name or his fathers name. My fathers biological mother was Anna Maria Zimmerman. She married Joseph and became Marie Richel somewhere around 1935 or 1936. All of this probably happened in Elizabeth, NJ. Marie and Joseph went onto have 3 daughters together.
