I am searching for my mother’s birth family. I am aware that her birth mother has likely passed away by this time. My mom was born in Southern New Jersey and has lived there her whole life. We were told that her mother had gone to jail and she had been left in the care of an elderly man who could not look after her. We were never given any names, although it was known by some who the birth mother was. Every one I know, except my mother, connected with this event has passed away, taking the truth with them.
