I was raised by my parents (of a completely different race than I am) as their child for my whole life. I am 41 and they insist that they are my natural parents and refuse to give me any information about where I came from. My older siblings all "vividly remember" the day I was brought home from the hospital. My mother is a social worker and I believe I was either adopted or I was conceived somehow outside of their marriage. I am trying to get to the bottom of this family secret and figure out where I came from.
