I am working on my family’s ancestry and I recently discovered that my great-uncle was adopted but my grandmother (his adoptive sister) only saw paperwork once when she was very young. I am trying to find said paperwork, if it even exists. His name is John Crawford Langlitz. The name Langlitz was the surname of the family that adopted him. He was born June 28, 1928 and died January 29, 2000. My grandmother says that her parents adopted him from their neighbors but I am unaware of any names of their neighbors at that time.
