I was told I had a closed and sealed adoption. I was born in Nashua‚ New Hampshire in December and I was not adopted until February 14 of 1972. I was adopted through Catholic charities and was also informed I was born at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua as well. At the age of 18 I contacted Catholic charities and was able to obtain all of my unidentified information which told me I was born approximately 9:18am in the morning and weighed 8lbs 14oz and was 20 and 1/2 inches long… it mentioned that I had slight jaundice but had a normal full term birth with general anesthesia.. also that my birth mother was 15. My birth father was 16. They were both in high school at the time. my birth mother had three younger brothers my birth father had one older brother and one younger brother. I am wanting to know who took care of me the first couple months of my life in which I bonded with… and why there was a 2 1/2 month waiting period before I was adopted into my forever family.
