This may be a bit of a stretch‚ but I'm looking for my maternal grandparents (any family on my mother's side). My mother was born in a hospital in New Jersey on August 5‚ 1968. She was adopted to Susan and George Davidson of Somersworth‚ New Hampshire not long after for a sum of $10‚000 and they received a new birth certificate with their names listed as my mother's parents (this is all being passed down as the story of how they adopted my mother my mother confirms this is the story they told her). I know my mother feels she may be betraying her adoptive parents who raised her and gave her everything but she also wants to know who her parents are and why they gave her up for adoption (or did they?). She has told me many times.. I would really like to know who my maternal grandparents are and if I have any other family members out there (cousins‚ aunts‚ uncles‚ etc.) and the circumstances surrounding what happened with my mother (medical or health or mental health problems)‚ if this leads anywhere and if they'd be willing to share that with me. Thank you for taking the time to read this.. I'm sorry I dont have more substantial information to go off of.
