My grandfather was adopted by a french couple in New Brunswick. He was born in 1908‚ but I'm not sure when he was adopted. He was Scottish by birth‚ with reddish hair. He died without our family ever knowing where he was from. I only know about the Scottish blood because of my own DNA testing.
