My dad was adopted about 3 weeks after being born in New Brunswick‚ may 24th 1971. paperwork said his birth mom was 15‚ his birth name given to him was “Serge Guitard.” He grew up in Nova Scotia raised by my grandparents who adopted him. They came to Ontario when he was around 17 I think‚ and he met my mom and now I exist. I’m wondering how much more family I have out here‚ and just how French my family really is. We didn’t know until…. Last year? Can’t really remember. He went 50+ years not knowing he was adopted.
