I was told I was adopted from Child Haven in Las Vegas,NV(where I still reside), but was born at Women’s Hospital(it was the only hospital delivering babies at the time). I was brought home(homecoming)at 13 months old. My adoption was closed because I was taken away from my birth mother and she signed her rights away. I have no information on either parents, and have no known knowledge of having siblings at the time. She was white, and the father was black according to my dna test results. My birth name was Portia. And I have no knowledge of the last name due to the closed adoption. My name now is Brooke. And my Parents were Barbara and Daniel Curtis.
