When your father passed away, your mother had trouble feeding all of you. She sent two of her most healthy-looking children you and your older sister (Saraswati) to Bal Mandir. To place you at Bal Mandir, your mother told that you were an orphan. Within a year, you were adopted. With you gone, your mother did not want to lose one more child. So, she took Saraswati home.
