I am searching for any members of my Mother’s birth family. The adoption seems to have been private. Information from previous searches indicate her mother’s first name may have been Anne. She was told by her adoptive family that her birth mother was married with children and her husband was away at war. During his deployment she had an affair with a french man or french soldier‚ became pregnant‚ and went to another town to hide the pregnancy and deliver the child (my mom). Her adopted parents had difficulty adopting through many channels so I’m unsure if it was privately arranged.
