I was adopted through a private adoption in Kearney, NE after my birth at the Good Samaritan Hospital in that town. I was always told that my birth mother went to Kearney to live with her aunt and uncle until delivering and that my adoptive parents were friends with the aunt and uncle. That is how the private adoption came about.
