My birth mother’s maiden name was Larson. She was of Swedish decent and 25 years old at time of my birth. She was working as a registered nurse and was also a college senior. I was born at University Hospital in Omaha‚ Nebraska. Nebraska Children’s Home Society was the adoption agency. I had health issues at first and was cared for by a foster mother until I was adopted on March 27‚1969 by my adoptive parents‚ Robert and Helen Schmidt who lived in Hastings‚ Nebraska at the time. I did 23 and Me but only found one first cousin from my biological father’s side who had no knowledge of me. Her name is Kimberly Adams.
