My mother‚ Bettyann Johns passed away in 2020. She was adopted by Mr. & Mrs. Charles Johns in Omaha‚ Nebraska soon after her birth on August 5th‚ 1926. I’m very interested in genealogy‚ but many years ago she asked me not to look into hers until after she passed‚ out of respect for her adoptive parents. She was probably of UK & Scandinavian heritage‚ based on my DNA.
