My adoption took place in Omaha, NE, through Lutheran Family Services (LFS). It is my understanding my Mother was in her early 20s, a secretary, had green eyes and brown hair. My Father was outdoorsy and sporty, in his late 20s with black hair and blue eyes. That I may have a half brother 4 years older than me. Twenty-Nine years ago, just before the birth of my 1st child, I had LFS contact my birth mother via her Father, who may have been the only person to know about me. LFS sent letters addressed to her via her Father saying we hadn’t met since the date of my birth. The response was a phone call from the Birth Mother saying, ’I don’t know what sex the baby was, I hope it had a good life and I have attorney’s lined up if they ever try to contact me again.’
