Looking for my older adopted sister that I have never met. She was born in Hastings, Nebraska at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Birth parents are Daniel Lee Moore and Catherine Marie Moore (Phelps). Birth name was Heather Dawn Moore. Date of birth was 9/23/1981. I am not 100% sure on the day but pretty certain it was September 1981. I believe she was with my parents for some time and then the state got involved and removed her. I have been told she had club foot and did not walk until 13 months. The name I have for the first placement was Dennis and Janet Ecternach. My parents relinquished their rights and the state adopted her out. It was a closed adoption and I am not sure if an agency was used. She was adopted in Grand Island, Nebraska. This was likely more than a year after her birth but I cannot say for certain.
