My name is Hafsa Khalil, i am 24 years old, Moroccan, i live in Rabat and i am from Marrakech. I’ve been adopted by a family in Marrakech since i was born. As my mum says, my bilogical mother gave birth to me in Ibn tofail hospital in Marrakech and run away. No one knew who she was. My mum opened up about it to me at the age of 13. And i thank her for her courage.. I don’t see that as a bad thing because i think that we have adopted each other. They wanted me as badly as i did, maybe more than my real parents did. Now that i have my own life, i am working at an NGO that decends freedom of press, democracy and human rights. I thin it is the time for me to start the process of getting to know my birth mother.
