Hi! My name is Meriem and I am 42 years old. My official documents state my birth date as November 1, 1983, but I know I was actually born before that—though I’m not sure exactly how many days earlier (whether it was two months, one month, or less). I was born in Tetouan at the Sania del Ermel hospital. I have no information about my biological family, other than knowing I had a brother born at that same hospital who was given up for adoption; I believe he is younger than me and lives in France. I know my biological mother is married and has other children, but I don’t know her name or where she lives. I live in Ceuta and don’t know anyone who could give me a lead on my biological family.
