The birth certificate states the birth took place in Jackson County. Adopted parents say the hospital doesn’t exist anymore. I have been told adoptee was taken from mother at birth and lived in an orphanage for about a year. Supposedly the birth father tried to get custody at one point but the courts ruled for him to stay with the adopted parents.
