The son of my grandmother (would be my uncle) did reach out to his mother via a letter through what I imagine was a search registry‚ but the details are unknown to me. At the time that she received this letter‚ she had very bad cataracts and had her mail read to her - which was done by her neighbor. Kathryn insisted the letter be thrown away‚ which the neighbor did - but after Kathryn's death‚ the neighbor told my mother about the letter. My mother told me some time later and asked if there were any ways of finding out about her half-brother.
