Mary M. (possibly Matilda) Atkins was adopted by Dr. George Matthew Park and Julia Cornwell Park in 1930 or 1931 in St. Louis‚ Missouri. Mary’s biological parents were William Emmet (sometimes listed as Emery or Emory) Atkins and Eva E. Rosenberger. Mary‚ William‚ Eva‚ Dr. Park and Julia are all deceased. I am trying to create a genealogical biography of Mary for my father-in-law who knows nothing about his mother (Mary) prior to her adoption. Mary subsequently married William H. Whitton‚ Jr. on October 5‚ 1934. I am attempting to obtain an uncertified copy of her adoption birth certificate and her adoption papers to add to her biography.
