I look was given up for adoption at birth July of 1950 in Pope County‚ Illinois. My parents were not married to each other. I was told my birth mother‚ Gladys Alta Cox Walker‚ moved to St. louis‚ Missouri after my birth while !y birth father remained in Illinois. I was also told they reconnected in Missouri and had a son a year later (1951)‚ a boy with red hair‚ who was also given up for adoption. My fathers name did not appear on my original birth certificate. My birth mother used her middle name‚ Alta. My birth certificate did not show a last name for me at all.
