The adoptee I’m seeking is my 1st cousin. His mother was my maternal aunt, Caryl Ann Ledbetter. She passed away in 2006, so a lot of details about the birth are lost to my family. There’s only so much my mom remembers. Birth was at St. Louis County Hospital in St. Louis, MO. The adoption was a closed adoption. My mom thinks the state was the "agency" so we don’t know if he was immediately placed in a forever family or bounced around in Foster Care. Aunt Caryl was only 17 at this time. The father’s name was possibly Carl last name unknown/not remembered. Giving him up was The Regret of Aunt Caryl’s life.
