My father told me at Christmas that I have a half sister that is approximately 10 years older than me possibly born in March or April of 1959 or 1960? He was only about 15 when he fathered the child and it was well before he met my mother. My half sister’s mother was also just a teenager....15 or 16 years old. She gave birth to her in the Des Moines area and then her family possibly moved to Missouri. It’s not certain if the birth mother kept my half sister or gave her up for adoption. She may have grown up in Missouri?
