My mother was born on or about September 9, 1943 in St. Louis, MO. Her adopted mother did not provide much information and I am not sure how truthful the little bit she shared is. She was adopted by Carmen (Christine) and Jack Miller. They apparently started off as her foster parents. She may have gone into foster care fairly soon after she was born. I do believe she had siblings. She could have been the youngest out of maybe 9 children.
