My name is Peter Woomer. I was born in St Louis and adopted at the Missouri Baptist Christian Home near St. Louis. I was told that my birthmother named me Christopher before my name was changed by my adoptive parents to Peter. I know my biological grandmother and grandfather were separated at the time. The story I was told was that my bio mother and father were very young (around 12 or 13) and my bio mom wanted to run away and live with my bio grandfather in Texas but he told her she had to stay in Missouri with my bio grandmother until I was born.
