I gave birth to a healthy boy on October 21, 1981 at St. John’s Hospital in St. Louis County, Missouri. I had just turned 18 at the time and gave him up for adoption because I wanted to give him the best life possible and I was unable to do that. I would love to meet him and see the man he has become. With all my heart, I hope that he has had an amazing life. I have thought about him every day and carry slides of him from his birth everywhere I go.
