My mother, Barbara Wichmann, gave birth to a child in 1965-1966. She was around 16 years old. I believe the child may have been born Sept-Dec. 1966 based on other info I have. The birth probably took place at Firmin Desloge (now SLU) hospital and the child was adopted through Catholic Charities within a year of birth. My mother lived at Villa Maria women’s home before giving birth. The father may have been Donald Duffie. The Duffie family lived in Pine Lawn, MO. Both my mother and the possible father graduated from Riverview Gardens High School in St. Louis, MO.
