Adoption was arranged by the obgyn Dr. Calvin. He told the birth mom of the family friends of his that were interested in adopting a baby. His friend was also a doctor and believed to live in Ladue, MO. It’s believed they were interested in adopting because they already had a daughter with Down syndrome and wanted another child, but didn’t want to risk complications. The baby was born at St. John’s Hospital in Washington, MO. It’s unknown if an adoption agency or attorney was involved in the arrangement.
