I’ve been looking for my lost sibling for quite a few years ago now but I’ve not been successful. My mother gave birth to a child in late 1948 to 1949 She gave the child up for adoption in either IL or MO. I know mom worked in Chicago at the time and lived most of her life near St. Louis. She had mentioned Evanston, Ill a couple of times. Mom says she got raped by her foster "brother" and the foster family was forcing her to marry him so she ran away and had this marriage annulled in Chicago, IL. His last name was either Wilhite or Willhite. She met my father shortly after this whole thing happened and then they had me in 1950. Before she was taken into the foster home her name was Patricia Ruth Desmond, born in St. Louis. She was called Patsy and Patty.
