I am searching for my sister who was given up for adoption by her birth mother Joanne Obermeyer. Joanne was born 8/7/1931. My birth mother said she is 10 years older than me and I was born in 1962. I have been searching for her for over 30 years. Our birthmother has been deceased since 1999 so I have no additional information nor anyone to help me find her. All I know is birthmother Joanne was born and raised in Kansas City‚ MO and may have went to an unwed mother’s home to give birth. She then moved to CA with her mother (my grandmother) Doris Miller around the late 1950’s early 1960’s.
