I would like to know my birth parents I was adopted from the Catholic Charities in St. Louis Mo, it was located on lyndell street. I have been in touch with that organization, but because of the close adoption. I have a de -identified hand written letter from my biological parent stating she want me to have opportunity to be raise by a loving caring parents and that at the age of 19 she wasn’t able to do that and didn’t think it was the responsibility of her parents to raise her baby. Also the letter was in responds to a news paper article that said that Negro babies are hard to adopt and that she hope I would not have to experience that.
