I had just turned 18 when I gave birth to a boy at Methodist Hospital in Jackson‚ MS on July 31‚ 1993. The adoption was handled by Rose Roberts at New Beginnings out of Tupelo‚ MS. I believe the adopting parents were from the Tupelo area. I named him James Alexander and was told that they were keeping the name. I hope they did‚ or at least part of it.
