Adopted from Mississippi Baptist Children’s Home in Jackson, MS or Mississippi Children’s Home in Jackson, MS between April and May 1962. Birth name given was Sheryl Lynn or Sherilynn. Birth Mother’s sister was listed as having heart condition/problem, maybe hole in heart. Birth Mother listed as having allergy/sinus problems. Birth Father was older than birth Mother, when she went to tell him she was pregnant, he was already in another relationship so she did not tell him. Her parents could not afford the medical care or to raise another child so I was put up for adoption. Birth Mother, I believe, was 16 so she would have been born between 1945 and 1946.
