He was adopted 3 or 4 days after birth. I was 18 years old. I tried to take him on the day of release‚ but was guilted because I didn’t have a car seat and the parents already saw him. And when I went home without him‚ that night and next day I begged to be taken to him. I was denied. I was taken to a lawyers office not even a week later to sign things with no copies‚ explanation‚ and not given any type of court date (which I didn’t even know that was supposed to happen).
