My aunt Carrie Ellen Bennett was born in Hattiesburg. she gave up a son for adoption in 1966. We didn’t know about it until recently. WE learned it was her dying wish that we find her son she gave up. WE believe she spent her pregnancy with nuns either in Vicksburg or Jackson Mississippi.
